Fun Activities at the Fort
This year’s Elliot’s Ride features some exciting new guests and activities! P3GM Newport Bikeshare Solutions will be debuting their bikeshare pilot program – you can be one of the first to test ride bikes that we hope will be available all over Newport in the near future.
Bike-On will be showing off a whole range of adaptive bicycles: handcycles, adult trikes, side-by-side tandems, bikes that couple with wheelchairs and more! Come give them a spin.
The kids’ Tour de Fort will be back with a series of activities to get young kids rolling: helmet checks, bike skills, an inside the fort loop ride and more. Kids of all ages are welcome!

We know there is promise of a safer cycling experience for future riders. We want to see more progress here in Newport and everywhere. Our dad would love everything about Elliot’s Ride. He would love seeing the whole community out enjoying Newport from the seat of a bicycle.
We thank you for joining our call for more, better, and safer cycling in his honor and memory.
